Publishing
To
publish, click the red ‘Publish’ button on your Dashboard.
You’ll then be asked to read our D
Publishing agreement. You can also download the publishing agreement,
and it
will be sent to you by email for your reference.
Once you’ve read the
Publishing agreement,
please check the box saying ‘I agree to the Dymocks Publishing agreement’, fill
in your details and click Continue. You can then choose what format you
would like
your book published in. Remember, if you only selected EPub when you
started
the book production process, you cannot add Print as an option at this
stage.
You’ll then be prompted
to enter your
credit card details to pay securely online. Once this is done,
you’ll see a
screen confirming your book is published. However, you can’t make
it available
for sale until you’ve set the list price. Do this by clicking
within the table
in the Commercial Terms tab of your Dashboard. Once you’ve set
the price, your
book will appear on the www.dymocks.com.au website within a few days. The
Ebook
and/or EPub versions of your book will be available via Google Ebooks
too.

Distribution
All books published with D Publishing will be made available for
sale via our website www.dymocks.com.au, with orders printed and sent
to customers on demand. D Publishing will look after all the logistics
of managing customer orders, including printing (for printed books),
handling and dispatch of customer orders. An electronic version
of your book (Ebook) will also appear in the Google Ebooks store
online.
Additionally, books published with D Publishing will be added to
the database of books available to Dymocks bricks-and-mortar bookshops.
Note: whether a book is actually stocked at a Dymocks bookstore is at
the discretion of the individual store owner. If you have a Dymocks
store near you, we suggest you contact them to highlight your offering
as a local author whose book may be of interest to their customers.
